Colonial Hat Headvase United Imports MINT
CONSIGNMENT ITEM: This old timey victorian headvase was made by 3 different companys back in the 1950's. Inarco, Enesco, and United Imports all made her in varying accent colors. She stands 7 1/4" tall. An absolutely extraordinarily detailed, delicate vase. This lovely lady is wearing a beautiful high style Victorian outfit reminiscent of a long ago formal sophistocation. She has her original faux pearl earrings. She is dressed in a pale green ruffled high neck blouse with gorgeous dark green sleeves. Her heavily decorated hat is just amazing, painted in the same soft green tones of her dress it features a subtle pindot detail and a gorgeous light green flowing bow positioned to the side. Her hat is also bestowed with a lovely three flower ornament in the center which empasizes the extraordinary blueness of her life-like eyes. Delicate curls of her soft ashen blonde hair frame her face and soft tendrils fall gracefully to her shoulder, entwined with her lovely hair ribbon. This ladies colouration is really really nice, her make-up, pumpkin shaded lipstick, nicely blushed cheekbones and eye details are exquisite. She is wearing her original pearl earrings. She was not made to wear a necklace. She is extremely clean inside and out and has never been used as a vase. She has a pristine United Imports Japan Label on her base that is in like new condition. There are no chips, cracks or hairlines, I could not detect any crazing under bright light. She would be a beautiful addition to any collection. She can be found in Kathleen Cole's 2002 Head Vases ID and Values on pages 63 & 73 and in Kathleen Cole's 2003 The Encyclopedia of Head Vases on page 28. (HC)
