2 Rare Rubens 4128 Flapper Sisters MINT
These girls are two of the most difficult to find in the head vase series known as THE RUBEN's BROWN LASH GIRLS. The distinguishing feature of this set is that each girl has the longest lashes ever, and instead of them being the traditional black as seen with most every head vase, these girls lashes are coloured in a beautiful deep rich brown shade. Whether you are adding to your brown lash girl collection, or just beginning one, these two girls are MUST HAVE's and are the two most spectacularly styled vases in the series. These girls are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, repairs, paint loss or crazing. They are clean inside and out and appear never to have been used as a vase. They are measuring at 5 1/2" on yellow one and 5 3/4" on purple one. The bottom retains the original sticker on the one in purple only and both are stamped #4128 with the Rubens R in a circle. The one with the long yellow scarf is on page 89 of Dave's Head Vases by Numbers and the one in purple is on page 131 of Dave's Collecting Head Vases.
