Rarely seen Vintage Lady Headvase MINT
This extremely rare, gorgeous lady is sometimes referred to the "Elke Sommer" vase by avid collectors. She is very hard to find, and when she is available, is sold very quickly. She stands 6" tall and wears a soft powdery blue beret styled hat with the most exceptional bows showing on both sides. They look fabulous! She's wearing a matching round necked dress which also features smaller bows at the shoulder. Her long straight honey blonde bangs emphasize a gorgeous face, huge blue eyes and the heavy dark black liner that's often seen in the "Mod Style" of the 1960's. Her perfect complexion and bright red lips are very expressive! It's easy to see why this hard to find, very rare girl is so widely sought after. She is in MINT condition, clean inside and out and appears never to have been used as a vase. She is shown on page 131 of Dave Barron's Collecting Head Vases. She is stamped Japan with wreath mark and guaranteed vintage.
