Inarco E-2783 Ellie Mae Clampett MINT
This vase is highly sought after by avid collectors and is referred to as the "Ellie Mae" vase, due to her likeness to the sweet, perky, critter loving gal who played in the wonderful "Beverly Hillbillies" tv program in the mid-1960's. This vase is in MINT condition free of chips, cracks, hairlines, repairs, and crazing. She has wonderful sunshine blonde hair, worn Ellie Mae Clampett style in two long pigtails. The pretty blue ribbons in her hair match perfectly to her dress. She a lovely expression on her face, with bright vibrant blue eyes, arched brows, high cheekbones with healthy blushed cheeks and a bright red lipstick. She was not made to wear jewellery. She is exceptionally clean inside and out and appears never to have been used as a planter. She is Stamped with her Inarco inkinstamping E-2783 on her base and retains a portion of her gold foil sticker. She is shown on page 82 Collecting Head Vases, on page 66 Hin ad Vases by Numbers. She is a very rare vase and in this fabulous MINT condition she would make a prized addition to any head vase collection.
